A statistical investigation of bidirectional associative memories (BAM)

Abstract
We investigate by statistical mechanical methods a stochastic analogue of the bidirectional associative memories introduced by B. Kosko. We derive its storage capacity as a function of the total number of synapses and of the asymmetry of the network.
