Abstract
The nonequilibrium phase transition in a new driven diffusive lattice-gas with anisotropic couplings and a very large external electric field is studied by Monte Carlo simulation. Values for the critical temperature and the exponent $\beta$ are determined, suggesting a nonclassical critical behavior. Long-range spatial correlations are found, supporting predictions for nonequilibrium systems.
